The network of public transport in Budapest is well-distributed and running, so we think that, unless you have special needs, you can move around the city with the Metro, schedule and always without traffic jam problems, buses and tram.

Cost of tickets (prices are for information, may be subject of change):

- Ticket: 125 ft (about € 0.60) (valid for bus, tram, trolleybus, metro, castle bus)

- 10 tickets: 1.100 Ft (about € 5)
- 20 tickets: 2.150 Ft (about € 9.5)
- Daily ticket: 975 Ft (about € 4,50)
- Tourist ticket (3 days): 1.950 Ft (about € 8.5)
