The Museum Aqincum (III. District via Szentendrei 135.) For the 13-th time organizing a temporary exhibit from those artifacts that have been the most beautiful pieces found during excavations in recent years. The staff of the museum during the year 2008 have brought to light more relics dating back 180 thousand prehistoric, Roman, and migration of peoples. The most precious object of the present exhibition is a mosaic found in the bourgeois Aquincum.

October 28, 2009 - February 14, 2010 - From Botticelli to Tiziano two centuries of Italian painting

At the exhibition of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest (Heroes' Square), representing the Italian painters of the Renaissance, intends to present over 110 works, of which 30 are from the collection of its own. Most of the remaining 80 pictures were obtained on loan from Italian museums, but the partners are well-performing of the major museums of Europe, like the Louvre in Paris, the Prado in Madrid, the National Gallery in London and the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna.

 

The desire of the Museum to organize an exhibition of painting, which offers a wide panoramic picture, which elaborates even more 'knowledge of visitors to the Museum of Fine Arts on Italian painting. At the exhibition would be presented, first of all, the works of the great innovative figures, which are not, however, present in the rich collections of the Institute, which is able to explain every school, trends in their complexity history.

If you come and you can understand the feeling of loss of sense organ that gives you the most information, you can understand com is life without sight. The trip takes place unseen by a guide who is blind in natural environments routinely furnished in a complete darkness that you can participate in groups that depart every 15 minutes.

 

During the trip I'll show you the unseen life situations, where you can buy the experience of the movement in urban traffic, for payment of a coffee in a bar, and you will know how to choose the spices to your meal. In another showroom I'll show you the means and objects of daily use of blind people.

The Treasures of Tutankhamen - until April 25, 2010

The circumstances of uncovering extraordinary and unique treasures found on the site. An exhibition of exciting, informative, full of wonders, organized in Budapest at the Palace Wam Design Center in Kiraly street, a modern museum and multimedia. The exhibition was organized with the support of two popular professional Egyptologists Dr. Wolfgang Wettengel and Dr. Martin von Falck. At the exhibition will be presented exclusively playing three tombs and copying more than 1,000 objects from Tutankhamun, making it detectable with the most modern technology was the gold of the pharaohs. His experiences in a suggestive way to send visitors the historical background of the short life and mysterious death of the boy king.
